Kusudama Flower Tutorial
Making flowers out of Paper is my favorate pass time.It’s always fun to learn different techniques to create these little beauties. I hope you enjoy this and try it youself!!
What you need:
1. Origami paper or Post-it notes
2. Glue
3. Scissors
Instructions for making Kusudama Flower
Here are the step by step instructions on how to make your own kusudama flowers.. they are little tedious but beautiful!
For making one flower you may need 5 pieces of paper cut into squares. The pieces can be of aprox 7 x 7 cm or 3 inches square(can vary depending on the size of flower you want to make).

Here are the step by step instructions on how to make your own kusudama flowers.. they are little tedious but beautiful!
For making one flower you may need 5 pieces of paper cut into squares. The pieces can be of aprox 7 x 7 cm or 3 inches square(can vary depending on the size of flower you want to make).
- Take a paper and cut it in Fold the paper in half diagonally. This will make a triangle.
- Fold the left and right corners up to the top of the triangle. This make a square.
- Fold the same points down. The folded edge will line up exactly on top of the outside edge of the square.
- Open up the flaps you have just created and flatten them.
- Fold the top triangles towards you so they are level with the edges of the paper.
- Fold the side triangles in along the crease you made earlier.
- Glue the outside triangles together to make the petal.
- Make five or more petals and glue them together to make the full flower.
