Tissue Flowers! 


Tissue flowers are the most easy DIY flowers. You can just make a couple of them with the colours of your choice and decorate your place in just no time. The following are some instructions of how to do it yourself!!! Hope you will like it!! Leave us some comments so that we can improve add more stuff you wish to DIY..! 

What you'll need:

  • Coloured tissue paper
  • Chenille stem
  • Scissors
  • Ruler


How to make it:










  1. Cut tissue paper into rectangles of desired size (5"x7" is the size pictured.
  2. Stack around 15 pieces of tissue paper. Use the same color or different colors. If you want to use a smaller number of pieces of tissue paper, flower will not be as full.
  3. Accordion pleat the tissue paper working from the long side.
  4. Wind one end of the chenille stem around the middle of the accordion pleated tissue paper. 
  5. Trim the ends of each side to give the pedals a unique look. Trimming the ends into a point (like a triangle), or a bump (like a half circle) will look very pretty.
  6. Gently separate each layer pulling upwards toward the middle of the flower. Do the second side. 





Tips for you:


  1. If you want to give your flowers some leaves, include a stack of green tissue paper folded accordion style during step 3. Trim the green paper into a shape of a leaf.



DIY Tissue butterfly:

In most places, the butterfly season draws to a close in August as these colorful insects begin to migrate to their winter habitats. You and your family can extend the season by crafting some winged creatures that will stick around long after the real ones are gone.

Materials
  • 2 4- by 4-inch spares of tissue paper
  • Scissors
  • 12-inch pipe cleaner
  • Thread and String (for hanging it up)





Instructions
  1. Tissue Paper Butterflies - Step 1 Stack the 2 tissue squares, then trim the edges to resemble wings.
  2. Tissue Paper Butterflies - Step 2 Fold the pipe cleaner in half over the wings, as shown, bunching the tissue slightly.
  3. Tissue Paper Butterflies - Step 3 Twist together the pipe cleaner ends to hold the paper in place. Then curl the pipe cleaner tips around your finger or a pencil to create antennae. Tie one end of the thread to the pipe cleaner body for a hanger.
